Religião

A religião predominante na cidade é a Católica Apostólica Romana. Há também a Igreja Metodista Renovada, a Igreja universal, a Igreja Presbiteriana, a Assembleia de Deus, a Deus é Amor, a Congregação Cristã no Brasil, Catedral da Bênção, etc.

Vazante é conhecida como "a cidade nascida da fé", já que devido à visão de Nossa Senhora dentro da gruta da lapa velha, muitos fiéis se mudaram para as redondezas.

The predominant religion in the city is the Roman Catholic Church. There is also renewed the Methodist Church, the universal Church, the Presbyterian Church, Assembly of God, God is Love, the Christian Congregation of Brazil, the Cathedral of Blessing, etc.. 

Vazante is known as "the city born of faith", since due to the vision of Our Lady in the grotto of the old lapa, many faithful moved to the outskirts.
